Find 10 things that you don't want in your kitchen anymore. You get more bonus points the bigger they are.
Kick them out to the trash, put them in your charity bag or start a yard sale box.
Gone. Done. Better.
The trick is to get rid of that box! LOL-- I have a stack of about 12 of those boxes waiting to go...just gotta get myself to the goodwill!

I read this way back when you posted, but then I was reading it from work, and the impetus never lasted all the way to home. Today I have been re-reading these from home, and they've been the prompt I needed to put aside the computer and actually do the housework that's been waiting for weeks. I read this one and was pretty sure I wouldn't have much to get rid of - after all, I feel so poor! But I went round my kitchen anyway, and am thrilled to report that I found more than 10 things I shouldn't be keeping 'just in case'. Thanks for the kick up the butt :)
