I love to celbrate Pi Day, observed in countries that use the Month-Day style of dates on March 14 at 1:59 (3.14159). Obviously, the best way to observe is with lots of pie. It's also Albert Einstein's birthday. I learned about it from the Exploratorium.
I also try to observe the day I moved to my current city as well as my favorite author's birthday (which is also the saint's day for the saint of the same name).
