Another excellent reference from Peter: 2000

Another excellent reference from Peter:

Marc Rettig's presentation on ethnography & information architecture from the asis summit on information architecture. This is a great overview of what experience architects (or information architects or interaction designers...) do and need to think about.

At Web 99, I attended an excellent all-day session on web process & project management given by Marc and Dick Costolo. It was probably the most useful seminar I've ever attended. [and because Marc is really really good at what he does, I just found the notes in two, count 'em, two clicks!] Here are the slides from that tutorial. If you ever get the chance at a conference to see these guys, I highly recommend you do.

Blog (noun) A weblog or similar brief journal usually containing links and commentary thereon. Term coined by Peter Merholz.
Visit Typepad or Blogger to start your own. (I began with hand coding, then switched to Blogger when it first became available, then to Movable Type when I wanted more control over my weblog and to have it hosted at a place of my choosing (Hurricane Electric). Now I use Typepad, built by the same folks who made Movable Type and I love it).
